Your Opportunity as the Lead Analyst, Financial Systems

Become a key member of our Financial Systems Center of Excellence (COE) by leading application maintenance and supporting our Oracle Cloud applications (ERP and specific EPM applications). Provide executional support to our financial close and forecasting/planning processes including providing day-to-day end user support, executing the Oracle monthly (EPM)/quarterly (ERP) release regression testing, and supporting system and process improvements.

Location: Orrville, OH

Work Arrangements: Hybrid, onsite expectation 35% or more based on business need

In this role you will:
  • Maintain and support Oracle applications and execute close and forecast/planning tasks.
  • Maintain application-specific metadata and mappings and complete month-end application maintenance.
  • Execute monthly/quarterly/annual tasks to support the financial close, forecast, plan, and/or LRP processes, including, but not limited to:
    - Monitor new account combinations
    - Execute data integrations
    - Execute system rules
    - Troubleshoot system errors
  • Provide support for business teams executing the applicable business processes in the applications, such as inquiries and issue resolution
  • Partner and collaborate with departments in Finance & IS to identify process/system improvements and communicate enhancements to end users.
  • Execute testing needs for application-specific continuous improvement initiatives developed by the admins within the COE.
  • Support the development of communications and training materials for end users.
  • Lead Oracle Cloud monthly/quarterly release activities including release regression testing, maintaining data requirements, and execution approach (manual vs. automated).
  • Support rollout of new application features and other system/process improvement initiatives to the broader Finance Organization, including developing and updating training materials.
  • Execute Sarbanes Oxley/internal controls, primarily IT General Controls.
  • Support internal and external audit inquiries and requests.


What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Services
  • 4+ years of relevant financial systems and/or record-to-report/plan-to-perform process experience (e.g., financial reporting & consolidations, planning, forecasting, long range planning)
  • Strong understanding of the chart of accounts and how they support the financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow)
  • Ability to seek out and identify process/system enhancements to improve the end user experience environment


Additional skills and experiences that we think would make someone successful in this role:
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud financial systems (Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud)
  • Use of various reporting tools, including Spotfire, OTBI, Narrative Reporting
