Lead Program Management Specialist

As a Lead Program Management Specialist, you won't just manage projects-you will shape the future of logistics sustainment. Leading a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team within our Workload Execution Branch (Strategic Agility Division), you will serve as the premier authority on budget development, strategic resource planning, and mission-critical execution. Your leadership will directly translate to enhanced mission effectiveness and maximum resource efficiency across the enterprise.

What You Will Accompolish:

- Drive Strategic Logistics: Execute complex, long-range lifecycle analyses and materiel readiness strategies to keep critical systems operational.

- Lead Requirements & Negotiations: Co-lead the high-profile Requirements Review and Depot Determination process in close coordination with AFSC/SWF, negotiating key customer requirements and defining supportable depot positions.

- Orchestrate Workload Execution: Serve as the central focal point for budget planning, workload forecasting, and the seamless execution of customer orders.

- Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Deliver elite-level technical and administrative guidance across diverse, cutting-edge commodity portfolios, including Software, Exchangeable, OMEI, and Area Base commodities.

- Champion Partner Relations: Act as a trusted advisor, production analyst, and subject matter expert for vital internal customers and mission partners.

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance

- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft

1. Ability to plan, organize, lead functions, mentor and motivate the staff of an organization.

2. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

3. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

4. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition., supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.

7. Ability to utilize Art of the Possible (AoP) concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
