Job Summary:
Provides advanced financial and accounting support for Self-Perform Work (SPW) operations and ensures accuracy of financial reporting and analysis. Partners with SPW leadership to evaluate financial performance and support decision-making. Leads complex financial analyses and supports SPW business planning processes. Serves as a subject matter resource on SPW financial matters and guides accounting practices across projects. Contributes expertise to improve financial processes and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyzes SPW financial results, forecasts, and variances to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partners with SPW leadership to support financial decision-making through data-driven insights and reporting.
Leads complex financial analyses, including labor productivity, cost trends, and profitability assessments.
Evaluates SPW project cost reports, backlog, billing positions, and risk/reserve balances to identify issues and recommend actions.
Guides SPW accounting practices, including billing, cost tracking, and financial reporting processes.
Provides mentorship and guidance to project accountants and peers to support development and consistency.
Supports SPW business planning and forecasting processes, including evaluation of labor rates, overhead trends, and key financial assumptions.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
Experience supporting multiple projects or business units with financial analysis required.
Experience in construction or self-perform work operations required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
