Responsibilities
Provide direct therapeutic services to clients: individuals, couples, family and group counseling. Provide resource and referral information as needed for comprehensive treatment. Primary duty requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, documentation, progress notes, and case management according to established legal and ethical codes and in compliance with contracting agencies Provide resource and referral information to clients and link to outside agencies as necessary for comprehensive treatment and document accordingly Provide crisis intervention services to clients via phone or for walk-ins as needed Participate as a member of the Case Review Team in reviewing client cases Adhere to the established legal and ethical codes of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and Policy and Procedure Guidelines of the department and agency as well as any contractual requirements Participate in QA activities and audits Provide progress updates to outside authorities including but not limited to social services and probation as required Review protocols on schedule basis Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature review, in-service meetings and workshops Support the vision, mission and goals, and demonstrate a commitment to the values, of the organization Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in related field LMFT; licensed by the BBS in good standing for at least two years CPR Certification (BLS Child, Infant, Adult)
Preferred Qualifications
Completed all necessary training to perform function as Clinical Supervisor for Interns/Trainees Bilingual English/Spanish Availability and willingness to work evening and/or weekend hours when requested
