Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Launch Support Systems Hardware Engineer to join our team! In this role you will work as a technical staff member of the GMN SE team supporting definition of performance requirements for the GMD Fire Control and Communications (GFCC) product suite (fire control system, fire control network, in-flight interceptor communication system, and missile silo/launch support system).
What You'll Be Doing:- Assist the GMN Systems Engineering (SE) Lead and GFCC Product Leads to ensure component-level top-down performance requirement decomposition that fully meets the intent of Ground Systems Performance Specification (GSPS) requirements and new Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) defined capability can be designed to and appropriately tested.
- Provide technical expertise to product-related verification planning, test case development, test witnessing and approval, and ultimately review of verification closure artifacts at the Prime Item Development Specification (PIDS) level and support to GMN verification closure at the GSPS level.
- Review the development contractor decomposition of requirements, and provide recommendations on the addition or modification of product requirements.
- Review GMD Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables and Objective Evidence artifacts and provide comments and recommendations for concurrence or guidance.
- Review applicable Joint Review Process (JRP) packages and coordinate with GMN Product subject matter experts to ensure proper industry development.
- Provide technical expertise for requirement development and verification planning/approach for new or expanded component capabilities.
- Support GMN SE in the preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for Sprint reviews, program management reviews, system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test events, fielding readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews.
- Develop and present technical reports and briefings including support to the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capability List (OCL) approval process.
- Travel as required (estimated 10%).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Master's Degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline is required.
- Minimum of 12 years direct experience in missile defense system engineering is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and DOORS is required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Direct experience in digital engineering/DevSecOps development projects is desired.
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
