Job DescriptionAbout the role:- Global Launch Management drives the execution of compliant, on time, product supply in support of Takeda's launch pipeline and in alignment with Takeda's growth objectives.
- Effectively lead cross functional Supply Chain Launch Team (SLT) for geographic expansion, meeting commercial ambition and strategic business needs.
- Implement standardized launch practices across organization in support life cycle management and product enhancement.
- Develop and execute detailed launch plan, partnering with internal and external teams and ensuring timely launch supply to commercial affiliates.
- Support launch readiness and performance by managing launch systems and data, helping implement standard reporting tools and processes, ensuring data quality, and supporting user adoption.
How you will contribute:- Lead Geographic Expansion Launches
- Launch planning: Develop detailed launch plans in alignment with longer-term launch strategy.
- Leadership: Lead international cross functional team in support of successful on-time product launch.
- Launch management & coordination: Manage & monitor launch execution according to a launch project plan for complex and strategic product launches in first and subsequent market expansion.
- Lead SLT to ensure product availability for launch.
- Partner with Product Operation Leads and other stakeholders to evaluate decisions of strategy relating to launch, develop launch scenarios, etc.
- Ensure SLT executes against Supply Chain launch plan as agreed upon and in support of the Global Supply Chain Launch Excellence KPI.
- Portfolio & Project Management
- Launch readiness and data management: Maintain accurate launch milestone data in centralized Project Portfolio & Project Management systems.
- Responsible for data quality leading monthly and quarterly review of launch pipeline with key stakeholders.
- Support Global Supply Chain Launch KPI's.
- Global Product Launch Process
- Global Launch Process: Support continuous improvement activities, enhancing and standardizing launch playbook, tools and checklists, etc.
- Supply/Demand Planning, Systems & Data
- Thorough understanding of supply/demand planning and S&OP
- Deep understanding/knowledge in Supply Chain Systems (SAP ECC/IBP, Esko, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of Quality Management Systems and processes (Veeva, Trackwise, etc.)
- Solid understanding of (master) data management and KPI Reporting, ensuring data accuracy and consistency of supply chain information across systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:- Bachelor or master's degree in business administration and/or Supply Chain management
- Min 5-8 years of prior relevant experience in Supply Chain operations
- Solid experience in pharmaceutical industry, with emphasis on Operational execution of product launch
- Excellent communication skills with all levels in organization and ability to develop rapport with Takeda leaders
- Knowledge of SAP, Master Data, and other Supply Chain Systems (e.g. Esko)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint

U.S. Base Salary Range:$116,000.00 - $182,270.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
