We are seeking a results-oriented and influential Last Mile Optimization Leader to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across North America Land (NAL) and Canada. This role requires a strong ability to influence stakeholders to successful execution, build cross-functional relationships, and lead strategic programs that enhance fleet performance, operational effectiveness, and cost management.
The ideal candidate will bring a solution-oriented and systems-thinking mindset, combined with strong financial acumen and deep experience in operations and supply chain within the oil & gas or manufacturing sectors. A proven track record in delivering cost-out and optimization projects, along with a high level of accountability and execution.
As a Last Mile Optimization Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering truck right sizing strategy in cHD, MD and LD truck sales plan for 2026
- Long term fleet insight development
- Ordering entry team optimization strategy
- Operational expense spend reduction 6 Element - LD premium fuel, non-fuel purchasing
- Indirect spend optimization 6 forklifts, water, fuel, truck spares
- AHA tracking and reporting 6 last mile efficiencies + truck sales + fleet operational metrics
- Employee engagement initiatives 6 career growth plan actions
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Successful influencer 6 Have ability to influence to completion
- Have ability to build good relationships across all NAL + Canada
- Have experience in leading cost out, optimization projects
- Have solution, systems mindset
- Have high say/do ratio
- Have financial acumen
- Have operations/Supply Chain experience
- Have a Bachelor's Degree
- Have 5 years of experience in oil and gas or manufacturing
Preferred
- OIC product knowledge
- Six sigma (Green Belt)
