Clinical Lab Supervisor | Oncology Practice

Full-Time | Onsite | Monday - Friday

$78,000-$115,000 per year. The actual hiring rate may vary based on several factors, including your previous work experience, educational background, the responsibilities of the position, and demonstrated performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Supervisor, Lab Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, Lead Medical Technologist, Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or similar laboratory leadership role seeking a supportive, specialty-focused environment where quality, teamwork, and patient care come first.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance (CLIA, OSHA, state requirements)
  • Support and perform laboratory testing as needed
  • Oversee test accuracy, reporting, and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with providers and cross-functional teams to support patient care
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Assist with inventory, equipment evaluation, and operational improvements

Qualifications

  • MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science strongly preferred
  • 5-10 years of clinical laboratory experience
  • Previous lead technologist, assistant supervisor, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of quality control, proficiency testing, CLIA/CAP regulatory requirements, and laboratory quality systems
  • Current state licensure, where required
