Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day laboratory operations, staffing, and workflow coordination
- Supervise, coach, and develop lab team members
- Ensure quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance (CLIA, OSHA, state requirements)
- Support and perform laboratory testing as needed
- Oversee test accuracy, reporting, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with providers and cross-functional teams to support patient care
- Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation standards
- Assist with inventory, equipment evaluation, and operational improvements
Qualifications - MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science strongly preferred
- 5-10 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Previous lead technologist, assistant supervisor, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality control, proficiency testing, CLIA/CAP regulatory requirements, and laboratory quality systems
- Current state licensure, where required
