Salary

$75,818.09 - $90,906.89

Position Summary

This position is responsible to facilitate the expansion of family networks by ensuring kin search: engaging with people connected to the child/youth, completing file reviews, web searches; and engaging with all formal and informal supports to determine the most suitable plans and placement that is in the best interest of the child/youth and their families. This position will champion the Society's strategic plan and utilize various strategies to assist with the Society-wide implementation of family search and engagement principles.

Qualifications
  • B.S.W degree or equivalent as recognized by the Ontario Association of Professional Social Workers.
  • B.A. in Social Science with 6 months full-time direct CAS experience or 2 years related experience working with families and/or children (e.g. court clinics, residential programs).
  • Proficiency in a second language an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training may be considered as appropriate.
