Responsibilities:

  • Synchronize Key Leader Engagement (KLE) activities across operational, intelligence, diplomatic, partner nation, and interagency efforts to ensure engagements support campaign objectives and commander priorities.

  • Develop and maintain engagement synchronization frameworks, engagement calendars, stakeholder maps, and operational touchpoint matrices to align KLEs with ongoing activities and desired outcomes.

  • Advise senior leaders on engagement opportunities, stakeholder dynamics, influence pathways, and engagement strategies that advance operational and strategic objectives.

  • Coordinate with planners, analysts, Information Operations (IO), Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), Civil Affairs, PSYOP, and partner organizations to integrate KLE activities into broader campaign efforts.

  • Assess political, military, economic, social, informational, and cultural factors affecting key stakeholders and engagement outcomes.

  • Develop engagement objectives, themes, talking points, and supporting materials tailored to key leaders, influencers, decision-makers, and mission partners.

  • Track engagement activities, stakeholder feedback, and relationship development to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and recommendations for future engagements.

  • Lead engagement synchronization working groups and provide assessments, briefings, and recommendations to support operational planning, strategic communication, and mission execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience supporting Key Leader Engagements (KLE), strategic engagement, Information Operations (IO), Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), Civil Affairs, PSYOP, diplomacy, or related mission areas.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating engagements across military, interagency, multinational, partner nation, and commercial stakeholders in complex operational environments.

  • Experience developing engagement strategies, stakeholder analyses, synchronization products, executive briefings, and operational support plans for senior leaders.

  • Proven ability to assess stakeholder networks, influence dynamics, and operational conditions to support engagement planning and decision-making.

Desired

  • Master’s degree in International Relations, Strategic Communications, National Security Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, interagency organizations, or strategic competition initiatives.

Demonstrated experience integrating KLE activities with influence operations, information environment activities, behavioral analysis, campaign planning, or whole-of-government engagement efforts.
