Job Description

A Key Account Manager is a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key customer accounts. The Key Account Manager is responsible for partnering with key accounts (such as public health, pharmacies, group medical practices, health care provider associations etc.) to drive vaccine uptake across the patient journey in alignment with our Company's strategic objectives and areas of mutual interest to the customer.

The Key Account Manager reports to our Vaccines Regional Business Manager in Western Canada and works closely with colleagues from other functions: Marketing, Access, Policy, Legal & Compliance and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong partnership and long-term engagement with key accounts and public health units, through the co-creation of business solutions that are win-win for our Company and the customers.
  • Identify unmet and/or evolving customer needs through in-depth market and customer understanding, as well as strong account planning
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic business plans in collaboration with the key account, considering short and long-term business opportunities.
  • Monitor customer account plans through clear measures of success, and track projects based on metrics and Key Performance Indicators to deliver on our Company and the key account's goals.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize opportunities within key accounts, while ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Identify new and innovative solutions to address customer needs and challenges as well as creative ways to deliver value to customers.
  • Leverage data analytics and business insights to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Incorporate learnings to reshape the key account's strategy and customer's plans.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in key account management/sales/supplier management.
  • Knowledge and prior experience in the life-sciences and public health is considered an asset.

Le ou la titulaire du poste relève du ou de la gestionnaire régional(e) des affaires - Vaccins pour l'Ouest canadien et travaille en étroite collaboration avec des collègues de diverses fonctions, notamment le Marketing, l'Accès au marché, les Affaires publiques, les Affaires juridiques et la Conformité.

Principales responsabilités:
  • Établir des partenariats solides et un engagement à long terme avec les comptes stratégiques et les unités de santé publique grâce à la co-création de solutions d'affaires avantageuses tant pour l'entreprise que pour les clients.
  • Cerner les besoins non satisfaits ou en évolution des clients grâce à une compréhension approfondie du marché et des clients ainsi qu'à une planification rigoureuse des comptes.
  • Élaborer, mettre en œuvre et exécuter des plans d'affaires stratégiques en collaboration avec les comptes stratégiques, en tenant compte des occasions d'affaires à court et à long terme.
  • Assurer le suivi des plans de comptes au moyen d'indicateurs de succès clairement définis, et gérer les projets à l'aide de mesures et d'indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) afin d'atteindre les objectifs de l'entreprise et du client.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes interfonctionnelles afin de maximiser les occasions au sein des comptes stratégiques tout en assurant l'alignement avec les stratégies d'affaires.

Qualifications:
