What We Are Looking for:

EPE USA is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager - Protective Packaging to manage, strengthen, and grow relationships with strategic customers. This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales professional who understands manufacturing and packaging environments and can identify opportunities to expand business within key accounts. The Key Account Manager will serve as a primary partner to assigned customers while collaborating closely with EPE's engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned strategic and key accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with customer contacts across sales, engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business, products, packaging requirements, and future needs.
  • Create and execute account strategies focused on customer retention and profitable growth.
  • Partner with EPE engineering and operations teams to develop customized packaging solutions.
  • Lead customer meetings, presentations, and periodic business reviews.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address service, quality, or delivery concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of customer business trends, competitive activity, and future programs that may affect assigned accounts.
  • Support new product and program launches from initial opportunity through production.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within EPE while balancing customer requirements with company objectives.
  • Travel to customer facilities and EPE locations as business needs require.


What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Packaging, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in key account management, technical sales, engineering, packaging, manufacturing, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience in packaging, engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical environment strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of corrugated, folding carton, flexible, protective, and/or rigid packaging solutions preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, ranging from engineers and operations personnel to senior management.
