Job Title: Income Tax Accountant
Location: Wayne, NJ
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE- Prepare U.S. federal state and local income tax returns, including the reporting of cross-border transactions
- Prepare extensions, estimates and related payments
- Prepare income tax provision under US GAAP and IFRS
- Perform and maintain tax account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and supporting schedules
- Manage tax authority notices
- Research U.S. income tax issues and document conclusions clearly and concisely
- Assist with maintaining tax documentation, compliance calendars and internal controls
- Provide Canadian tax return information to third party tax return preparer
WHO YOU ARE- 3+ years of tax experience, public accounting and/or corporate/private industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, or a tax concentration within an accounting program
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office and Excel, experience with tax system Onesource a plus.
- Experience in fixed asset depreciation calculations preferred
- Experience in retail, consumer products, or luxury brands is a plus
- Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
- Professional, dependable, demonstrating integrity, trustworthiness and a cooperative attitude
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
