Role Overview- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Hours 8-5 (minimum 6 hours in-person and available by phone until 5pm)
- Typical case load 14-16 patients/day
- Provide psychiatric patient care to adults (18+) in an inpatient setting
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
- Provide interventions and behavioral management
- Medical management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
Compensation and Benefits- W2 position salaried position and full benefits (medical dental, vision, PTO, 401k)
- Paid after-hour call coverage (voluntary/by rotation)
- Paid weekend coverage (voluntary/rotation)
- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
Qualifications- PMHNP-BC and FNP or other primary care NP
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee license as a PMHNP and FNP
- Active DEA
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a PMHNP and FNP provider, preferably in an in-patient setting.
