Job Summary:
The Junior Security Architect’s primary role is to provide guidance on enterprise information security solutions that protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. As part of the Global Fusion Center (GFC) you will be playing an integral role in providing advanced cyber capabilities to a growing number of Group Companies. The role requires familiarity and past experience with a broad range of cyber areas. The Security Architect conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required in supporting the project teams to comply with Tokio Marine’s standards, security policies, industry regulations, and best practices. The role interacts with the user community across multiple Group Companies in developing an understanding and adherence to standard operating protocols.
Essential Job Functions:
- Aligns security architectural strategy with business requirements
- Researches, and advocates new technologies, architectures, and security solutions that will support security requirements for Tokio Marine
- Represents security disciplines in Enterprise Architecture and project discussions, ensuring that designs and standards are in place to appropriately manage technology risks.Works on complex projects that require knowledge of one or more specialized areas such as network security, applications, data, systems
- Works closely with other Global Fusion functional areas including vulnerability management, pen testing, vCISO, IR engineering and red team
- Provides unique perspectives an knowledge within the security architecture landscape
- Interacts with users to develop an understanding and adherence to standard operating protocols
- Assists in the authoring, establishment and enforcement of security and risk management policies and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Cyber certifications preferred
- Exposure to Tokio Marine systems and policies preferred
- 2-4 years relevant experience
- Experience with basic database design, domain structures, network infrastructure, user authentication, and encryption preferred
- Experience with designing and engineering system architectures in an Enterprise Architecture or security architecture context preferred
- Experience with CSIRT planning and techniques preferred
- Knowledge of typical organizational politics and political tactics; ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels
- Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
- Strong writing and communication skills

Salary range$90,000 to $110,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
