The Responsibilities
Lead a team of full-stack developers in the implementation of product features which directly drive value for our customers.
- Collaborate with our Product and Project Management teams to design & deliver new product features that improve the customer businesses.
- Contribute to architecture, instrumentation, & performance decisions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team and personal learning.
- Discuss with customers to convert their needs into product requirement documents.
- Conduct feasibility analysis of new feature requirements.
- Review and manage product backlog to prepare for the Agile Sprint Planning.
- Participate in the Agile demo sign-off and retrospective meetings.
- Carry out the feature release process including writing the release documentation and presenting to stakeholders.
- Train sales engineers to learn the new feature.
- Engage in all phases of the SDLC.
- Coach software developers on software development best practices.

The Requirements
- BS degree in computer science or relevant experience.
- A solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- A minimum of 3+ years development experience.
- A minimum of 3+ years product management experience.
- Track record of delivering strong results in large scale/complex software development projects.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals, including project metrics
- Hands-on management of projects and their outcomes, rather than passively collecting and reporting metrics.
- Strong ability to identify potential issues and dependencies early.
- Quickly facilitate mitigation plans, alternative approaches and communication of risks.
- Customer service orientated mindset.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence is required.
