Mountainside Medical Center, a proud member of Hackensack Meridian Health and Ardent Health Services, is actively seeking a
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join our dynamic and collaborative surgical team.
Position Highlights- Work within a comprehensive, multi-specialty team, including
- pulmonology, oncology, and critical care
- Integrated on-site lab, imaging services, and full hospital access
- Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice
- Monday-Friday clinic schedule with rotating weekend coverage (1 weekend/month)
- Perform a wide spectrum of thoracic procedures, including Lobectomy, pneumonectomy, wedge resection, Esophagectomy, achalasia surgery, Surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome and lung infections
- Utilize minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical platforms
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to optimize outcomes
- Engage in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts
- Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding-leading to better work-life balance and revenue.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
- Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure, including CDS and DEA
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical and surgical care
- Experience in robotic and minimally invasive techniques highly preferred
- New graduates and experienced surgeons are encouraged to apply
Salary starting at $554,668
