Our Chalk River location is looking for a
Job Supervisor to provide leadership, oversight, and coordination of field operations while ensuring compliance with CNL procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations.
Apply today! What you will be doing!- Reviewing and commenting on documents related to the CRL Decommissioning Facilities program.
- Responding to calls during non-business hours and resolving emergency calls.
- Maintaining, updating, and ensuring CRL Decommissioning Facilities program is following the preventive maintenance program and completing all maintenance, Storage-with Surveillance (SwS), and compliance activities on-time.
- Supervising and delegating work to a team of up to 20 staff.
- Supporting the development and implementation of training.
- Providing coaching as necessary.
- Authorizing timesheets, leave approvals, vacation, and overtime.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:- Education
- Secondary School graduation with advanced level in Math, Science, and English or equivalent.
- Experience
- A minimum of 10 years' experience working in a nuclear environment or equivalent.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Computer literate in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access).
- Demonstrated strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures, plans, and work assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under stress when confronted with emergency, unusual, or hazardous conditions and to lead others in such conditions.
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."
Working Conditions:- Working schedule: Four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day for a forty (40) hour work week.

fully on-site position based at our Chalk River Laboratory in Ontario.
