Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java/.NET Developer with GenAI expertise to design, develop, and modernize large-scale, high-availability enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java or .NET development, cloud-native architectures, microservices, AI-assisted software development, and production AI/ML implementations. This role requires hands-on experience using GenAI coding assistants to improve software delivery while maintaining high standards for code quality, engineering judgment, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-availability enterprise applications using Java or .NET technologies.
• Utilize GenAI coding assistants throughout the software development lifecycle, including implementation, refactoring, testing, automation, troubleshooting, code reviews, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using microservices and container-based architectures.
• Design and consume Web Services and RESTful APIs supporting high-volume transaction processing.
• Deploy, support, and optimize AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Participate in system modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to distributed architectures.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Apply engineering best practices to ensure code quality, testing, validation, and production readiness.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience developing large-scale, high-availability applications using Java with Spring Framework or .NET, cloud technologies, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience using GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code across implementation, refactoring, testing, automation, troubleshooting, code reviews, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of AI-assisted development workflows, agentic workflows, spec-driven development, prompt engineering, and custom AI instructions.
• Experience establishing best practices for AI-assisted software development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
• 6+ years of experience with containers, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• 6+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• 2+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 2+ years of experience with databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, and/or PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years of experience supporting IT transformation and modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, or PaLM.
• Strong engineering judgment with ownership of code quality, validation, and software reliability.
• Understanding of broker-dealer capabilities and operations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), QA automation, and software quality best practices.
• Experience creating Visio diagrams, architecture documentation, technical specifications, and automated testing documentation.
• Willingness to learn and document all aspects of the technology stack.
• Experience researching and documenting production environments, test environments, architecture, and design.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
