Job Summary
We are seeking a Java Developer with strong backend engineering experience and exposure to AI technologies to support a high-visibility initiative focused on building and deploying production-ready, AI-powered services using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have a product mindset, focus on tangible business outcomes, and be comfortable connecting technical solutions to practical business needs. This is a hybrid position based in Bentonville, AR, requiring four days per week onsite, with relocation support available.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy production-ready, AI-powered services using Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Develop backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot as part of the GenAI technology stack.
• Apply AI coding and development capabilities to solve practical, real-world business problems.
• Focus on delivering tangible outcomes and business results rather than simply technical output.
• Understand and communicate the business case behind technical solutions and development initiatives.
• Perform unit and functional testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in unit and functional testing.
• Some hands-on experience coding with AI technologies.
• Strong backend software engineering experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Bentonville, AR four days per week, with an initial allowance for relocation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Full-stack development experience, particularly with React.
