Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer III with strong Core Java and Spring Boot expertise and a deep background in systems and application integration. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, event-driven integrations, data transformation workflows, and enterprise application integrations. Capital Markets or Investment Banking experience is highly preferred, particularly experience supporting trade lifecycle, post-trade, Middle Office, Back Office, clearing, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integration solutions using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs to support enterprise application integrations.
• Integrate multiple enterprise applications, platforms, and services across complex technology environments.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
• Develop and support data integration, transformation, and ETL workflows.
• Design and maintain database integrations and write efficient SQL queries.
• Analyze existing systems, data flows, dependencies, and integration points to design effective modernization and integration solutions.
• Support complex legacy-to-modern and platform-to-platform integration initiatives.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide production support and investigate issues to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, architects, and other engineering teams to deliver enterprise integration solutions.
• Contribute to large-scale technology integration programs, including platform migrations, acquisitions, and mergers where applicable.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong systems and application integration experience beyond traditional Java application development.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise applications and platforms.
• Strong experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or similar event-driven technologies.
• Experience with data integration, transformation, and ETL workflows.
• Strong SQL and database integration experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with complex legacy-to-modern or platform-to-platform integrations.
• Ability to understand existing systems, data flows, dependencies, and integration points and design effective integration solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
