Key Responsibilities:- Support current and developing new software solutions.
- Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable high performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert collaborate and engage with multiple teams contribute to key deliveries and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Support and maintain existing Java and C applications.
- Take ownership of specific software components and ensure their quality and performance meet project standards.
- Collaborate with people and learn and teach others.
This role requires 5 days a week on-site in Chicago, IL.Basic Qualifications:- A minimum of 5 years of Java Enterprise backend development experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience developing Microservices using Java Spring Boot and Kafka.
- Advanced proficiency in Agile Team Practices
- Experience with Unit Testing Framework and Spring Boot
- Experience with Apache Kafka and Microservices Architecture
