Job Description Summary
The Janitorial Account Manager oversees the delivery, quality, and performance of all custodial and cleaning services across client facilities. This role provides daily leadership to the janitorial team, ensures service standards are consistently met, and acts as a primary point of contact for the customer. The Janitorial Account Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing people and processes, and supporting safe, efficient, and customer focused environments. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example are essential for success.Job Description
  • Monday-Friday (Monday-Wednesday 6am-2pm, Thursday-Friday 10am-7pm).
  • Supervise all custodial staff and cleaning operations across assigned client properties, ensuring all work meets C&W Services quality standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the janitorial team; provide ongoing performance feedback and recommend team member development or advancement when appropriate.
  • Train new and existing staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing coverage, shift planning, timecard processing, and administrative reporting.
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns, service requests, and operational issues; ensure timely resolution and communication.
  • Maintain accountability for cleanliness, safety, and compliance across all assigned areas.
  • Support monthly close by meeting deadlines, running Hubble reports, preparing journal entries (reclasses, accruals, deferrals), reviewing and distributing general ledger reports, and performing P&L analysis with coordinated finance review meetings.
  • Solicit service contracts and SLAs; manage purchase orders; process and bill customer work orders using Vroozi, MyAP, and Works; assist with budget development and monthly financial reporting.
  • Perform cleaning duties as needed to support operations or address staffing shortages.
  • Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Mix and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
  • Identify and report repair needs, safety hazards, and facility issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor buffers, and other custodial machinery.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to support a positive work environment, address associate concerns, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving client or operational needs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Five (5) years of experience in janitorial management or commercial cleaning leadership.
  • Direct experience managing teams of 20 or more employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with basic computer systems.
  • Strong ability to follow and convey oral and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, staff, and management.
  • Working knowledge of labor and material estimating, task planning, and workflow organization.
  • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge and application of safe cleaning practices, chemical use, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license required.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 76,500.00 - $90,000.00
