Position Location

This position is based in Chesapeake, VA and will require occasional travel.

Job Overview

Project Analyst position is responsible for providing ITSM project management support and associated conformance to company policy for NIWC projects. Working with the Project Manager this position will be a central point of contact for the development and delivery of requisite work products for PAE-MS and NIWC IPT support work under these projects.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:
  • Provides IT Service Management (ITSM) subject matter expertise and operational consulting supporting US Navy and USMC networks and globally distributed operational forces.
  • Develop project work-product deliverables (e.g. Process Diagrams, Process Guides, Presentations, Reports, etc.).
  • Develops & delivers operational reporting, performance metrics, and executive-level decision support for stakeholder/customer leadership.
  • Develops process workflows for the implementation and reporting of IT/ITSM service performance metrics.
  • Anticipates problems and opportunities and addresses them appropriately and effectively.
  • Performs continuous review of program performance results and interfaces with government representatives to address status, operational issues, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Serves as key team member in proposal efforts to develop solutions that meet existing and potential client expectations.
  • Performs work in accordance with company policies and values along with client specifications.
  • Supports leadership to ensure successful and effective contract performance in the areas of safety, quality, cost productivity, compliance, timeliness, accuracy, and cooperation
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:
  • Associate's degree in business, IT, engineering or science/technical fields from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a position of direct support with a focus on ITSM project management.
  • Minimum of (2) years of experience supporting US Navy and/or USMC IT Service Management (ITSM) Projects and government contracts with a proven track record of success.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
  • Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of and experience with U.S. Navy and USMC IT Service Management, engineering and sustainment processes and practices.

Working Conditions:
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Physical requirements are typical of an office environment.
