Job Title: IT Technology Services Senior Specialist

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to develop and provide systems, applications, products and services to optimize or automate business processes, improve work efficiency and provide expert support in operations.

Expectations and Tasks:

Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. Deliver outcomes of assigned projects. Work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility in complex issues in own area. Represents SAP to customers. Advocate for the end user through deep understanding of end users needs, behaviors, and usage patterns. Design and develop systems, applications, products, services and data to optimize / automate SAP's business processes and improve work efficiency. Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Facilitate the system, service, and product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:

• Technical Solution Design and Feasibility Assessments;
• Validating database performance and performing SQL checks in SAP HANA or DB;
• SAP System Architecture and Technical Blueprinting;
• Unix or Linux based environments;
• Incident Analysis, Root-Cause Resolution, and Operations Support;
• Automation and optimization of technical processes and workflows;
• SAP Transport Management and Deployment Readiness;
• Continuous improvement and operational efficiency in IT systems;
• Executing deployment validation, runbooks, and system readiness tasks; and
• Performing incident analysis and problem resolution for Operations.

License/Certification required: Hyperscalar Certification (i.e. Azure or AWS).

Travel: Position does require up to 20% domestic travel to various, unanticipated customer sites to perform customer-facing tasks, including implementing procured solutions.
