ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril is seeking an IT Technician to directly support our most sensitive programs. You will be a part of the team building and maintaining the critical classified infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the world's best engineers and cybersecurity professionals as you help to implement cutting edge systems. You will work directly with customers and systems deployed across the globe in support of national security missions all while gaining invaluable experience navigating complex cybersecurity regulation frameworks.

WHATYOU'LL DO
  • Provide 1st and 2nd tier IT support to Anduril employees across classified systems.
  • Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot air-gapped classified IT systems consisting of a variety of operating systems and hardware.
  • Provide on-call, on-site IT support (in accordance with a predefined schedule).
  • Write instructional documentation and convey highly technical ideas in non-technical terms.
  • Perform security hardening of systems using DISA STIG's and other best practice security guidelines.
  • System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring.
  • Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, and engineers.
  • System re-image, troubleshooting, account maintenance.
  • Regular monitoring of systems/applications for availability and performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Takes ownership of tasks. Able to see a problem or procedure and what it takes to resolve it and improve it.
  • Adept project management skillset, experience in program management, and analytics strongly desired
  • Experience with physical hardware - servers, cabling, desktops, laptops, phones, tablets.
  • Experience building, deploying and troubleshooting air-gapped IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues in development, test and production environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, working closely with Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs).
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi, Linux KVM, Hyper-V, and Kubernetes.
  • DoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security +, CySA+, CISSP, etc).
  • Possess advanced admin skills in one of the following platforms Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows (10, 11, Server 2019, 2022), VMware (VxRail), Azure or AWS cloud services.
  • Maniacal sense of urgency to accomplish mission critical tasks.
  • Defaults to taking ownership of projects. Never waits to be directed.
  • Experience with physical hardware - servers, cabling, desktops, laptops, phones, tablets.
  • Experience building, deploying and troubleshooting air-gapped IT systems.
  • DoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security +, CISSP, etc).
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous support to classified IT systems.
  • Low voltage cabling experience.
  • Performs well in a fast paced/high stress environment.
  • Install and resolve software problems with applications to include secure print/scan, Sentris, Pitbull, VoIP, Gitlab, Microsoft SQL, Postgres, and WSUS.
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Low voltage cabling experience.
  • Experience with a scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate and solve reoccurring tasks.
  • Experience Troubleshooting Applications.
  • Account Maintenance with Active Directory/CRM.
  • Experience with managing large Oracle and SQL Server databases, be able to execute and troubleshoot database SQL scripts.
  • Reviewing Virtual tables and DBA views for any issues that may arise.
  • Locate user session data via the command line.
  • Database backups for Disaster Recovery preparation and maintenance of databases. Scripts to perform Level 0 and delta (Level 0/1) backups, full logical export of all database data that collects snapshots of parameter files and checks database for logical and physical corruption.
  • Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware).
  • Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components.
  • Applying OS updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and Application updates.
  • Importing/Exporting large data volumes.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).


US Salary Range

$86,000-$114,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
