Our customer is looking for a hands-on professional to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure while leading projects across cloud, networking, virtualization, and server technologies.
What You'll Do:- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, virtualization, and networking environments.
- Manage and support hybrid cloud infrastructure, including Azure virtual machines, storage, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid Azure AD environments.
- Configure and support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, including Cisco switches, routers, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues, perform root cause analysis, and document solutions to improve long-term reliability.
- Manage virtual server environments, including Hyper-V and Windows-based virtual machines, ensuring systems remain secure and up to date.
- Implement infrastructure improvements that enhance security, scalability, performance, and business continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology projects across multiple business units.
We're looking for experience with:- Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud environments
- Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- TCP/IP networking (Layer 2, 3 & 4), routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls
- Cisco networking technologies
- Hyper-V, virtual machines, and enterprise infrastructure
- Microsoft 365 and hybrid Azure AD environments
- Knowledge of backup and replication, SAN, SQL
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and documentation skills
- PowerShell or other automation/scripting experience is a plus
