Job Summary

Under direct supervision of the Projects Manager and Director of Information Systems, the IT Support Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Metro's technical support services. You will also ensure data security, perform regular backups and updates, and serve as the go-to person for all cybersecurity matters, including monitoring and responding to security incidents. You will work cross-functionally and will be responsible for maintaining IT systems and software, in addition to providing technical support to all employees. This includes support for Windows PCs/laptops, printers, and mobile devices. The IT Support Manager will participate in the development, design, and management of the information technology in use within the company. The IT Manager will also manage the opening of new clinics and the acquisition of existing ones.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Manages all IT, including IT Security needs, following established policies.
  • Manages and mentors a small IT team.
  • Project management skills are a must
  • Provides technical support for workstations, laptops, printers, computer peripherals, mobile devices, and corporate applications using Windows 11.
  • Ability to solve technical and system issues with little to no supervision.
  • Ensure all desktop support tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Complete assigned requests and incidents based on a ticketing system and priority level.
  • Maintain and support hardware and software throughout the organization.
  • Set up new users with phones, desks, computers, & monitors.
  • Provide technical support for meetings, events, and presentations as needed.
  • Manage printers, docking stations, & conference room connectivity.
  • Follow IT Asset Management procedures for the tracking, transporting, receiving, and disposing of company technology assets.
  • Continually monitors and suggests improvements in processes and procedures.
  • Travel between clinics (local & non-local) required.


Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills Required
  • At least two years of IT management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Min. 4 years of desktop end-user hardware support experience. Bonus points for experience within a healthcare organization!
  • Knowledge of data security and backup procedures
  • Ability to solve technical and system issues with little to no supervision.
  • A team player who brings positive energy and experience to a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 11 and iOS platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of the MS365 platform.
  • Knowledge and experience with Service Desk Plus ticketing and management.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and priorities for project time management with little supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels (i.e., Executives and High-Touch Specialty Departments)
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve customer computer-related issues.
  • Self-motivated individual with desire to enhance their knowledge and continually develop their skill set.
  • Understanding of current technologies and best practices in the information technology industry.
  • Solution-driven!
  • Project Management experience is a huge plus.
  • Must possess a valid and clean NY driver's license.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000.00-$115,000.00. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
