Full Job Description
IT Project Manager
The Opportunity:

Delivering secure infrastructure and enterprise capabilities within the Department of War (DOW) is critical to enabling mission success across complex, classified environments. From network deployments to cloud and secure service delivery, success depends on strong coordination, clear visibility, and disciplined execution across multiple teams and priorities. That's why we need an IT Project Manager like you who can support and drive execution across secure environments while keeping efforts aligned and on track.

As an IT Project Manager on our team, you'll support the coordination and execution of infrastructure and technology efforts across classified environments within Air Force networks. You'll work across engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure efforts are aligned, dependencies are understood, and progress is maintained. You'll act as a central coordinator-helping organize work, remove blockers, and ensure teams have what they need to execute successfully.

A key part of your role will be communicating clearly with stakeholders. You'll provide structured updates to leadership, translate technical progress into actionable insights, and highlight risks, blockers, and decisions required to keep work moving forward. You'll gain experience operating across Air Force environments, supporting a wide range of secure technologies and mission systems. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring teams stay aligned, efforts remain on track, and critical technologies are delivered effectively, supporting those who rely on these systems to operate, collaborate, and protect national interests.

Work with us to transform the future of Air Force intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with technical project management, systems administration, or network administration within government or commercial sectors
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams, including monitoring team performance and resource allocation to maintain productivity levels
  • Experience communicating project status, risks, and milestones to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Experience mentoring employees, resolving conflicts, and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Air Force systems, including DCGS environments
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with delivering mission support capabilities across geographically distributed sites or operational markets
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, or similar tools for tracking work, tickets, and project execution, and Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies in technical environments
  • Experience with DoW or IC compliance frameworks, including RMF, ATO processes, and security accreditation activities
  • Experience managing project financials, including tracking budgets, burn rates, and forecasting costs, and developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and dependencies using project management tools
  • Experience with network topology diagram creations that convey a clear picture of network architecture
  • Experience coordinating technical deployments across infrastructure domains, including network, compute, storage, or security
  • Knowledge of VMware, VMSphere, cloud environments supporting DoW or IC missions, including AWS or Azure, Remote Desktop configuration and administration, and System and Network Administration, such as maintaining LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructures
  • Ability to maintain system uptimes and administer network monitoring tools
  • Possession of exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and CompTIA Security + Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
