Job Summary

Corning is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead to oversee the Kinaxis Maestro Demand Planning implementation for the Optical Communications business. This role requires a strong project leader and servant leader who can drive execution across business, IT, SAP ECC, and vendor teams while enabling Agile ways of working. The position focuses on delivery leadership fundamentals including communication, stakeholder alignment, governance, financial tracking, issue resolution, and iterative execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of the Kinaxis Maestro Demand Planning implementation using Agile, Scrum, and iterative product delivery practices.
  2. Serve as a servant leader by enabling collaboration, removing blockers, supporting decision-making, and driving accountability across stakeholders.
  3. Manage delivery planning, governance reporting, status updates, RAID management, executive communications, and escalation management.
  4. Coordinate business, IT, SAP ECC, implementation partner, and vendor teams to ensure aligned execution across workstreams.
  5. Drive backlog and workflow management through Kanban practices; support sprint and release planning activities.
  6. Track project financials, delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
  7. Support integration planning, data migration readiness, testing coordination, cutover execution, and go-live planning.
  8. Ensure adherence to SOX, regulatory, and enterprise governance requirements.
  9. Provide clear executive-level updates to senior leadership and maintain strong stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle.


Required Qualifications

  1. 7+ years of experience leading enterprise technology implementations as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role.
  2. Strong foundation in project leadership including communications, stakeholder management, problem resolution, governance, executive updates, financial tracking, and vendor coordination.
  3. Experience leading teams in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative and incremental delivery.
  4. Hands-on experience working from a Kanban board.
  5. Scrum Master certification or PMI-ACP required.
  6. Experience with SAP ECC implementations and platform landscapes.
  7. Experience delivering solutions involving integration, data migration, and cutover coordination.
  8. Knowledge of demand planning in a manufacturing environment.
  9. Knowledge of SOX/regulatory compliance and enterprise governance.
  10. Ability to work 8:00 AM ET - 5:00 PM ET.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. PMP certification.
  2. Product Owner certification (CSPO or PSPO).
  3. First-hand experience implementing Kinaxis Maestro Demand Planning.
  4. Experience implementing complex SAP ECC solutions.
  5. Hands-on experience with Planview AgilePlace.
  6. Experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders hip.


Certifications (if any)

  1. Scrum Master certification or PMI-ACP (Required).
  2. PMP, CSPO, or PSPO (Preferred).
