The role of the Information Technology Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, vendors, or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Information Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of project management or information technology management.
- Minimum 3 years experience coordinating and supporting information technology business processes.
- Program/project management scheduling and budgeting experience.
