Job Description Summary

The IT Product Manager leads the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of technology solutions supporting trade, operational, and administrative functions across Synergie. This role owns the IT product portfolio and operations function, sets direction for cross-functional teams, and serves as the senior liaison between executive/business leadership and IT delivery. The Product Manager is accountable for the performance of the IT Help Desk and IT Operations team, directly managing staff and shaping how the broader organization experiences IT support and product delivery.

This leader sets the vision for technology products, builds and mentors a high-performing team, and drives the organization's Agile delivery practices, ensuring technology investments translate into measurable business outcomes.

Job Description

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Directly manage and develop the IT Help Desk and IT Operations team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Set team goals, workload priorities, and escalation processes for help desk triage, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Build a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement within the IT operations function.
  • Mentor junior product and operations staff, growing team capability over time.

Product Strategy & Ownership:

  • Own and evolve the technology product roadmap in alignment with organizational and IT strategy, presenting direction to executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into strategic product capabilities and investment decisions.
  • Drive backlog prioritization based on business value, risk, and resource capacity; make final tradeoff calls when priorities compete.
  • Own outcomes end-to-end — not just delivery, but the business impact and adoption of what's delivered.
  • Identify and lead workflow redesign and efficiency initiatives enabled by technology.

Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Serve as the senior point of accountability between business leadership and IT delivery teams.
  • Lead cross-functional decision-making forums, resolving conflicts and aligning teams around end-user and business needs.
  • Own communication of roadmap, delivery progress, and risk to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analyze healthcare workflows to identify and champion automation and process-improvement opportunities.

Delivery Oversight and Quality:

  • Direct collaboration with development, architecture, and QA leads to ensure delivery meets schedule, quality, and business requirements.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing and release planning, holding teams accountable to standards.
  • Monitor product and operational performance metrics, driving corrective action and improvement plans.
  • Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure all solutions and operational practices meet healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, data privacy, security standards).
  • Lead data governance practices and support reporting/analytics initiatives across the product portfolio.
  • Operational Leadership:
  • Serve as the accountable leader for IT Help Desk and IT Operations, owning service levels, staffing, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

Education

  • Required BS Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science; or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Required 5 + Years of experience in healthcare technology, including experience leading or managing people and teams. Experience supporting healthcare systems or organizations


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Prior experience managing IT support or operations staff with strong people leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent strategic product and portfolio management abilities
  • Strong understanding of business requirements translation and executive communication
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflow understanding

Certifications & Licenses

  • Preferred: Certified Product Owner - Scrum Alliance Product ownership/management certifications (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) and/or leadership/management certifications

$137,900.00 - $166,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range andthis hiring range may also be modified in the future. A candidate’s position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.This job is also eligible for annual bonusincentive pay.
