Full Job Description
Main Function

Supervises all aspects of IT operations at facility including performing installations, upgrades, maintenance on network infrastructure including switches and servers. Troubleshoots hardware, software and network problems, performs systems administration, maintains network documentation and support requests log. Supports critical business systems, assembles and documents IT inventory and ensures customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

2. Communication
  1. Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers
  2. Interacts with others in a professional, positive, respectful, and considerate manner

3. Supervisory Duties
  1. Responds to and resolves user IT support requests. Maintains log of requests for tracking purposes.
  2. Supervisors all IT support staff
  3. Monitor server systems and core applications and remediate issues as they arise.
  4. Onboard/Offboard new and departing Users, including badge access.
  5. Add/remove active directory users/groups.
  6. Set up and validate security permissions to ensure data security policies are properly enforced.
  7. Set up and validate group policy on domain for security and function as needed.
  8. Keep servers/workstations/software, EMR and all components up to date with security and application patches.
  9. Perform installations, upgrades and maintenance on network infrastructure including components such as PCs, servers, network routers, switches and backup systems.
  10. Manage email systems and address related support requests.
  11. Manage Data/Server backups.
  12. Validate Backup Sets and monitor backup function/success.
  13. Test/Validate restore and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  14. Audit of local and domain user accounts/group memberships/ security permissions.
  15. Manage/maintain/audit firewall protecting WAN connections.
  16. Management of wired and wireless internal networks.
  17. Manage/maintain/audit external connectivity such as VPNs and remote access.
  18. Manage/update/monitor Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware security software.
  19. Manage/update Hardware/Software inventory.
  20. Create and update network documentation, including hardware/software inventory, vendor information, licenses and service agreements.
  21. Assist in technology budgeting and planning.
  22. Assist in risk assessments.
  23. Perform installations, upgrades and maintenance on network infrastructure including switches and servers.
  24. Coordinate with contracted IT vendor for support as needed

4. Compliance Program
  1. Contributes to the progress and development of the organization's adopted compliance program
  2. Performs according to established compliance policies and procedures
  3. Ensures all HIPAA and IT regulations are implemented and followed.
  4. Remains current on all federal and state guidelines related to IT and IT security.
  5. Safety/Risk-management program
  6. Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities
  7. Reports observed or suspected safety violations, hazards, and policy/procedure noncompliance to Administrator
  8. Professional competence
  9. Participates in continuing education and other learning experiences
  10. Shares knowledge gained in continuing education with staff
  11. Maintains membership in relevant professional organizations
  12. Seeks new learning experiences by accepting challenging opportunities and responsibilities

Qualifications

1.Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, physicians and vendors.

2. Experience with Windows 11, ConnectWise, Windows OS, Active Directory, and O365.

3. Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Hyper-V, IIS and Remote Desktop Services experience, Backup management, Office 365 Admin Suite, SharePoint/OneDrive.

4. Ability to address problems continuously and work through to resolution.

5. Ability to work nights, weekends or at customer site is required.

6. Must be open to learning new skills and mastering new systems.

Requirements

Required

1. IT degree or bachelor's degree

2. Minimum 5 years' experience in IT position

3. Demonstrated IT systems, networks, hardware and software.

4. Ability to work alone and complete tasks.

5. Strong ethical and moral character references

Preferred

1. Supervisory/management experience.
