What We Need:- The Manager of IT Infrastructure and Security is responsible for the leadership, strategy, and day-to-day management of Chelten House Products' information technology infrastructure, production systems, applications, cloud IaaS platforms, and security environment. This role has evolved from a primarily technical systems role into a full departmental leadership position with direct people management responsibility, ownership of the IT roadmap, and accountability for business-critical technology decisions that support manufacturing, security, cloud infrastructure, and corporate operations. The role partners closely with Operations, Quality, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions with minimal disruption to the business.
What You Will Do: - Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, including direct supervision of system administrators and support technicians.
- Assign, prioritize, and oversee day-to-day and project-based work for the full IT team.
- Schedule team coverage for after-hours, weekend, and planned downtime work.
- Resolve team conflicts and provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical and operational issues.
- Technology Strategy, Cloud IaaS & Infrastructure Ownership
- Own the design, stability, security, and evolution of the company's on-premises infrastructure, network, systems, and cloud IaaS environments.
- Evaluate, select, and implement technology platforms and vendors aligned with business needs.
- Lead major infrastructure and cloud initiatives including server virtualization, network upgrades, bandwidth expansion, cloud IaaS deployment and governance, hybrid connectivity, and failover strategies.
- Manage cloud IaaS operations, including compute, storage, networking, identity integration, backup, monitoring, access controls, cost visibility, and vendor coordination.
- Plan, communicate, and execute system downtimes with near-zero business disruption
- Own cybersecurity strategy, policies, controls, and vendor relationships, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers.
- Lead implementation and oversight of monitoring, MDR alert triage, incident response, backups, disaster recovery, and security escalation processes.
- Partner with MDR and security vendors to review alerts, coordinate investigations, validate remediation steps, and continuously improve threat detection and response capabilities.
- Ensure protection of data integrity, confidentiality, and availability
What You Will Bring: - Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of systems, network, and infrastructure experience.
- Experience administering or managing cloud IaaS environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar platforms, including networking, compute, storage, security, and cost governance.
- Experience working with Managed Detection and Response (MDR), security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, or related cybersecurity operations vendors.
- Experience supporting a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and readiness to lead an IT function.
- Relevant infrastructure and security certifications for Azure, AWS, CISM, CISSP preferred
Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
