IT Infrastructure Analyst

The Opportunity
As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, administration, monitoring, and support of enterprise infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources, maintain system reliability, strengthen cybersecurity controls, and drive continuous improvement of the organization's infrastructure ecosystem.

Location
This hybrid position is based out of our Morgantown, WV office and requires onsite presence three days per week. The role includes an estimated 10% travel to field locations and other company offices. Additionally, this position requires participation in an on-call rotation for incident response support, approximately one week per month.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Administer and support infrastructure platforms, including Linux servers, cloud services, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and supporting technologies.
  • Manage Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance optimization, cost management, and operational support.
  • Install, configure, patch, and maintain Linux operating systems to ensure security, stability, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and performance using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, including vulnerability remediation, access management, encryption, system hardening, and compliance requirements.
  • Automate infrastructure administration tasks through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data protection and business continuity objectives are met.
  • Manage identity and access services, including directory integrations, permissions, privileged access, and authentication technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams, vendors, and cloud service providers.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, standards, and support guides.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, network, and business teams to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance infrastructure performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in infrastructure project initiatives, including cloud adoption, modernization efforts, system integrations, and technology refresh programs.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting applications.
  • Knowledge of designing, building, and supporting infrastructure in Azure cloud.
  • Understanding of automation via scripting (Powershell, TerraForm, Ansible, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
