As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist at the GS-2210-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Managing a full range of cybersecurity and IT-related services, operations and projects, which may include access to classified programs and handling classified and /or sensitive data.
- Planning, designing, implementing the IT service, equipment, application, system and/or solution's architecture hosted either on-premise or in cloud native platform environments ensuring the solution meets cybersecurity requirements.
- Leading a full range of IT projects and services through the IT change control process ensuring the proper application of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), cybersecurity, and information assurance policies.
- Writing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed technical, project planning, and management documentation.
- Tracking and overseeing implementation of vulnerability management mitigation to include effective and timely cybersecurity patch management.

QualificationsYou may qualify at the GS-2210-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
Specialized Experience: Must have one year (52 weeks) of full-time specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service performing the following duties:
1. Implementing IT enterprise architecture plans that address mission-critical program objectives;
2. Assisting with managing and directing IT projects consistent with industry standards;
3. Analyzing business requirements to develop IT solutions; AND
4. Providing technical advice and assistance on IT programs to users and management.

Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. If an applicant holds this certification, they may be preferred above those who do not, but no one will be rated ineligible solely for not holding this certification. (
