JOB SUMMARYSER master files contain a record for each caregiver, resource, device, and all relevant information for providers and designated clinical resources. The IT Consultant Provider Resource (SER) and End User Training Services (EUTS) is responsible for the initial set-up, ongoing maintenance and support for the SER master files including provider configuration. Since most Epic applications interact with the SER master files the IT Consultant will serve as a knowledgeable resource to all other Epic application team members.
The IT Consultant Provider Resource (SER) and End User Training Services (EUTS) will assist in designing SER mater files to ensure configurations, performance, resources, and security of the systems meet organizational needs. Maintains and supports SER master files and diagnoses issues when necessary. Works collaboratively with operational departments to ensure onboarding, terminations, and transfers are seamless for SER and EUTS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Other duties may be assigned.
• Assigned areas include but are not limited to Epic SER records and enrollment for EUTS.
• Administers the role-based access control model and is responsible for creating and modifying accounts for moves, adds, or terminations to various applications.
• Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
• Administer, manage, and support the Standards, Guidelines and Procedures for all SER management and EUTS across various systems and Epic integration.
• Complete tasks, review configurations, and perform system maintenance. Serves as an escalation contact for upgrades and services for reported issues or for assigned projects.
• Recommend process and system improvements to gain efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with Access Identity Management, Human Resources and Medical Staff office.
• Collaborate closely with EUTS.
• Performs routine audits and reports findings to IT leadership.
• Identifies issues, incidences, and breaches. Works with IT leadership to ensure remediation and mitigation of said issues.
• Prepares training programs and measures the effectiveness of SER records.
• Work closely with training teams to ensure accurate enrollment of users in training sessions.
• Maintain data integrity for training rosters and completion records.

• Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation for assigned systems and processes.
• Provides on-call coverage as deemed appropriate.
• Identifies and escalates production-critical issues to appropriate IT team members and leaders.
• Use ticketing system to log and monitor tickets. Participates in projects as deemed appropriate by IT leadership.
• Evaluates and corrects issues involving configuration of applications.
• Participates in Disaster Recovery planning, implementation, and testing.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or related field with 3 years of relevant IT or Healthcare experience in assigned area required
OR
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field and expected to complete the degree within one 1 year, with at least 3 years of relevant IT or healthcare IT experience in assigned area required
OR
High school/GED with 9 years of relevant IT or Healthcare experience in assigned areas required.
• Epic and/or third-party vendor certification(s)/accreditation(s) for assigned scope of responsibilities must be successfully obtained within 30 days of completing required first-available classes. If you fail to obtain your certification(s)/accreditation(s) within the allowed time frame or do not maintain the appropriate certification(s)/accreditation(s) for your position, you will have 30 days to successfully secure another position within NCH; otherwise, your employment with NCH will be terminated.
• Prefer experience with role-based access control.
• Candidates may work onsite in Naples, FL or considered for a virtual position. If a virtual position is offered, candidate may be required to travel onsite up to 25% of the time.
