Haugland Group, a privately owned Long Island, New York-based civil infrastructure and energy construction company, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to join our team.
Key Functions:- Owning the full lifecycle from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
- Lead small to mid-sized enterprise system initiatives serving as the connector between business teams, functional SMEs, and technical resources.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, map current and future workflows, and translate needs into clear requirements and user stories.
- Prioritize backlogs, validate configurations, and ensure alignment with SOPs, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
- Build and execute adoption and change-management plans including stakeholder mapping, communications, training, and readiness.
- Manage project timelines, scope, risks, RAID logs, vendor coordination, and cutover/go-live activities.
- Oversee SIT/UAT planning, KPI definition, reporting readiness, and analytics validation.
- Produce and maintain SOPs, job aids, release notes, and change summaries.
- Handing off to functional SMEs/champions post-launch.
- Measure post-launch value, track adoption and operational outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications- 5+ years across business analysis, project delivery, and/or change management.
- Proven ability to run end-to-end projects with strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, finance, project management, timekeeping, document control, or BI/reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills with both leadership and field teams.
- Construction industry software (Procore, Miter, Sage Intacct, etc.) experience preferred.
