Description:
This position is based in Greensboro, NC. Relocation is not part of this package. This is a flexible/hybrid position and will require time in an office. This QA/Software Testing role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of SQA and software testing experience. Candidates must have 4+ years each in test automation using Java, Karate, test management tools (QTest, QualityCenter), defect management systems (JIRA, Rally), API testing tools (Postman), virtual testing environment setup and requirements definition, and JMeter performance testing. Strong communication skills and experience working in both onsite and offshore team models are essential.

Job Summary:
In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this senior individual contributor position is responsible for developing applications for Android and/or iOS devices by leveraging Agile methodologies to design and implement new customer-facing features; collaborating with product management and UX teams to create fun, easy-to-use client applications which maximize the user experience; and adhering to standard mobile device security practices.This position will also be responsible for contributing to the overall architecture of KPs mobile technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area; supporting the development of work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; ensuring team follows all procedures and policies; coordinating and assigning resources to accomplish priorities and deadlines; collaborating cross-functionally to make effective business decisions; solving complex problems; escalating high priority issues or risks, as appropriate; and recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and four (4) years experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).
  • Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience developing and/or implementing mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year working with location technology (e.g., real time location services, beacons).
  • Two (2) years experience working with mobile development or dev ops tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, XCTest, Gradle, Cocoa Pods, etc.).
