Full Job Description
Position Title: Mission Analyst

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Relocation Assistance: None available at this time

Remote/Telework: NO - Not available for this position

Clearance Type: DoW Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

Shift: Day shift

Travel Required: Travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 15% of the time

Description of Duties:

The Mission Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Collect, review and analyze exercise, and real-world, missile test performance data, reports and results for functional anomalies.
• Assist in the performance of risk and impact assessments of changes and upgrades to systems to ensure end-to-end data integrity.
• Participate in Combatant Command Health Checks, providing technical assistance for improving warfighter operations in support to their missile warning operations.
• Methodically compare and evaluate multiple data sets against operational requirements, intelligence data and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures to identify and report conformance factors against applicable standards and operational specifications.
• Develop and present (with guidance) appropriate reports, briefings, results and recommendations to multiple mission communities, stakeholders and boards.
• Assist in maintaining Ultra High Frequency (UHF) satellite radios in operations and communication security (COMSEC) management.
• Compile, develop and present findings and recommendations to improve requirements, system development and integration approaches to meet current and future capabilities.

The successful candidate will:
• Be able to successfully communicate and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Have excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience briefing senior customers and management.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience

o May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 3, or more, years of directly related experience in an engineering field
• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA, etc.)
• Must have an active DoW Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Requirements:
• Have knowledge of the missile warning and missile defense specific mission architecture, system software, hardware and associated satellite radios
• Have experience with Microsoft Office suite

This position is expected to pay $117,416 - $129,775 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
