Full Job Description

Duties: As an investment associate within the Portfolio Construction team, analyze the risk and return characteristics of various investment managers and strategies. Build diversified and risk-controlled model portfolios across traditional and alternative asset classes. Monitor portfolio characteristics, return attribution, risk exposures, and fund updates on a regular basis. Utilize quantitative techniques and tools to assess portfolio characteristics, risk exposures, and historical performance. Develop and maintain quantitative models to support investment decision-making. Develop and maintain quantitative models to implement and manage alternative investment strategies over multiple fund cycles. Draft memos and presentations for model portfolio recommendations and implementation guidelines. Present analyses and conclusions to senior management and the investment committee. Support client-facing teams on asset allocation, manager selection, and portfolio construction decisions. Create and present investment proposals to advisors and clients. Generate educational content on approved strategies and platform resources. Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting investment managers and their strategies. Collaborate with other members of the investment team and client service teams to support portfolio implementation and ensure alignment of investment strategies with client objectives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the position offered or related in the wealth management industry. Must have 1 year of experience with: utilizing Excel for financial modeling, risk modeling and quantitative analysis; applying knowledge of investment products and strategies across traditional and alternative asset classes including mutual funds, ETF’s, separately managed accounts, alternative investment structures, private funds, and individual securities; managing risk on multi-asset portfolios including public equities, public fixed income, and private assets; and integrating private assets into broad asset allocation/pacing models, funding sources, and asset classification. Must have passed all three exams towards CFA designation.  Salary: $93,000 - $145,000/year.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
