Job Summary:

As the Investigative Consultant, you will be a a key member and supporter of the company's Business Conduct Program (Ethics, Code of Conduct program) and corporate compliance team. You will perform investigations into unethical behavior, code of conduct violations, and related complaints, and will support and coordinate ethics and code of conduct questions across the organization. Additionally, you will assist the Director in holistic program management, including maintenance of the organization's policies, procedures, and annual training.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review, evaluate and investigate reports of suspected misconduct and determine appropriate course of action. (Includes documenting and reporting findings and partnering with key stakeholders).

• Maintain and manage the company's case management system, including the anonymous reporting channel, to support routine reporting and root cause analysis.

• Assist with implementation and maintenance of key components of the Business Conduct Program (our Ethics and Code of Conduct program).

• Partner with and assist the Enterprise Fraud Team and Human Resources Partners when needed on high-level fraud investigations, insider threats and risk mitigation actions.

• Assist the Director with maintaining and providing training on the company's Guide to Business Conduct and related ethics-based policies and procedures. Coordinate updates to the Guide, related policies, training, and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies with a focus on relevance and thoroughness.

• Independently champions a culture of compliance and ethical decision making by developing relationships with stakeholders, spreading awareness of reporting resources, and promotes a speak up culture.

• Support and enhance processes and policies to identify and manage conflicts of interest and to support corporate policy governance.

• Support Compliance team members and key stakeholders in the development and implementation of metrics for measuring and tracking compliance, investigations, risk assessments, complaints, and mitigation efforts.

• Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, and monitor developments connected to code of conduct, ethics, and related topics. Keep abreast of pending regulatory developments.

• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required to deliver a best-in-class business conduct program.

Skills and Background You'll Need:

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience, in a related role, with working knowledge of applicable business conduct programs, ethics requirements and related investigatory techniques.

• Prior experience with internal investigations within law enforcement or other government or military arenas may substitute for the years of experience requirement.

• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence others and build relationships with all levels of the business.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree. (required)

• Juris Doctorate or other relevant post-graduate degree or experience (preferred).

• Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:
$88,000.00 - $129,000.00
