American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Physical Requirements

This position requires regularly lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); intermittently standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; working at heights above four feet and/or in confined spaces; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, radiation, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne/airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people.

Shift

Monday through Friday 730-4. No call, no weekends, no holidays.

Job Summary

UK Healthcare is growing once again! We are expanding our Interventional Sonography services, and are hiring for new technologists. This position will provide ultrasound guidance for the Department of Interventional Radiology procedures. The sonographer will assist physicians and APP's during US guided procedures and be responsible for sterile procedure set up and may assist in patient care during procedures.
