This temporary RN opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a dynamic acute care environment while gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and care settings.
What You'll Do
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, care team members, patients, and families to coordinate care.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Promote a culture of safety and quality while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support professional nursing practice through shared governance and partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
- Float to other units or departments as needed to support patient care demands.
What You'll Bring
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in North Carolina
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and technology used in patient care
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care nursing experience
- Additional specialty certifications relevant to practice area
