About This Opportunity

This temporary RN opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact in a dynamic acute care environment while gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and care settings.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, care team members, patients, and families to coordinate care.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in patient status.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support professional nursing practice through shared governance and partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Float to other units or departments as needed to support patient care demands.

What You'll Bring

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in North Carolina
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and technology used in patient care

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Prior acute care nursing experience
  • Additional specialty certifications relevant to practice area
