About this Role 

The Internal Communications Manager is a member of the Global Communications team and serves as a strategic partner to leaders across the organization, shaping how we connect, inform, and inspire our employees worldwide. This role goes beyond delivering messages. It’s about bringing our strategy to life through clear, purposeful, and engaging communications that help employees understand where we’re going, why it matters, and how they contribute. 

The Internal Communications Manager will collaborate closely with [Internal Communications leadership and] stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-impact communications that support transformation, strengthen culture, and elevate the employee experience. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and functional leaders, providing strategic counsel on communications that support business priorities, culture, and transformation initiatives 

  • Translate complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across diverse, global audiences and drive understanding and action 

  • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies and plans, aligning messaging, channels, and timing to maximize reach and impact  

  • Parter across Communications, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment across all channels and touchpoints 

  • Shape and elevate stories that connect our strategy, innovation (including AI), and people to demonstrate business impact and value  

  • Measure impact, using insights and data to continuously refine messaging and improve effectiveness  

  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset – raising the bar on clarity, creativity, and effectiveness across all deliverables

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience, preferably in communications 

  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications within a large, global organization 

 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience developing and leading integrated campaigns 

  • Experience leading complex organizational change projects 

  • Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries  

  • Experience leveraging integrated digital and collaboration platforms, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Copilot), Zoom, and Monday.com 

 

How much should I expect to travel? 

  •   Up to 10% annually

Pay Range:

$88,000.00 - $147,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
