RESPONSIBILITIES:- Field instrumentation and control system design and control strategy development
- Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of projects, including but not limited to: standard specifications, design criteria, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, installation details, control narratives, network diagrams, cable schedule, instrument list, equipment list
- Development and management of instrumentation and control system procurement packages
- Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs
QUALIFICATIONS:- Registered with or eligible for registration with APEGA as a P.Eng, or P.L. Eng,
- 5+ years working specifically within the I&C/Automation engineering discipline
- Some project engineering experience is considered an asset
- Previous experience with both the FEED and detailed design processes is considered an asset
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary
- Be available for field work as needed (~5%)
