Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

We are looking for a full-timeIntermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Field instrumentation and control system design and control strategy development
  • Prepare technical documentation required for the execution of projects, including but not limited to: standard specifications, design criteria, P&IDs, schematics, loop drawings, instrument datasheets, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, installation details, control narratives, network diagrams, cable schedule, instrument list, equipment list
  • Development and management of instrumentation and control system procurement packages
  • Review shop drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Registered with or eligible for registration with APEGA as a P.Eng, or P.L. Eng,
  • 5+ years working specifically within the I&C/Automation engineering discipline
  • Some project engineering experience is considered an asset
  • Previous experience with both the FEED and detailed design processes is considered an asset
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary
  • Be available for field work as needed (~5%)
