Job Description

The Facility Commissioning and Turnover (FCAT) unit provides commissioning oversight and turnover assurance, ensuring that all building systems and equipment delivered for the Spent Fuel Handling Recapitalization Project (SFHP) meet the Owner's Project Requirements and are ready for operational acceptance. In this role, you will support FCAT's review and verification of commissioning activities performed by a contracted third party Commissioning Agent.
As an Intermediate Computer & Electrical Engineer, you will evaluate controls system readiness, confirm technical alignment with design intent, and perform technical oversight of configuration, integration, and operational performance. You will collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, end-users, and the third party CxA to ensure system issues are resolved prior to turnover. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys multidisciplinary analytical work, field based technical problem solving, and ensuring high reliability systems meet acceptance criteria before being handed off to operations.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; or Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with I&C facility systems (Electrical Power Management System, Building Management System)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Facility system commissioning experience

Pay Range

$78,700.00 - $120,500.00 annually
