Summary

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as the Team Lead All Source Intelligence Analyst in the Analysis and Production department supporting Fleet Cyber Command/Navy Space Command/US Tenth Fleet's Intelligence Directorate (N2).
  • You will convey complex operational, technical and/or political-military concepts; develops and effectively employs multimedia presentations to this end.
  • You will evaluate and interpret all-source intelligence and open source information into established and/or innovative finished Intelligence Community (IC) products.
  • You will analyze and produce cyber intelligence products to include briefs, written intelligence summaries, and any other products required to support the Intelligence Directorate and Fleet Commander.
  • You will effectively apply extensive knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques to complex work assignments.
  • You will contribute to analysis and conducts long range operational and strategic intelligence planning, analysis, and production and briefs intelligence efforts to the Commander and senior leaders.
  • You will leverage knowledge of all source intelligence, Navy Fleet operations, and information management to identify, assess, and communicate germane analysis of cyber/space threats and adversaries to senior and operational audiences.
  • You will act as a key contributor to customer feedback mechanisms; improve existing analytic products and services and develops new products to resolve critical intelligence gaps in mission areas and enhance relevance.
  • You will utilize an understanding of cyber intelligence, space intelligence and Navy Fleet operations to clearly convey cyber threat assessments via briefings and written intelligence products.

  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS Trial Period.
  • This position requires successful completion of a counter-intelligence (CI) scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (111 - All Source Analyst), proficiency level (Advanced). The incumbent is required to obtain/maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and DoN policies.


Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:

  1. Identifying, assessing, and communicating germane analysis of cyber/space threats and adversaries to senior and operational audiences.
  2. Evaluating and interpreting all-source intelligence and open-source information into established and/or innovative finished Intelligence Community (IC) products.
  3. Analyzing and producing cyber intelligence products to include briefs, written intelligence summaries, and any other products required to support the command.
  4. Applying extensive knowledge of advanced intelligence research methodologies and analytical techniques to complex work assignments.

Additional information

This position has been designated as a Cyberspace Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) work role as identified above and, as a condition of employment, the incumbent of the position is required to obtain and maintain qualification in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program, February 15, 2023 and supporting Department of Navy policies.

This designation requires the incumbent to:

1) Obtain the foundational qualification within nine months and the residential qualification within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials as described in DoDM 8140.03 for DCWF work role(s) and proficiency level(s) as documented on this coding sheet. For more information, please review DoDM 8140.03 and supporting DON policies.

2) Participate in continuous professional development program as described in DoDM 8140.03. An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous professional development must be documented and completed in a current individual development plan signed by both the employee and supervisor. Continuous professional development begins in the fiscal year after the employee has obtained both foundational and residential qualification requirements.

3) Acknowledge responsibilities in writing via command designation letter.

Failure to meet a condition of employment may result in disciplinary and/or adverse action up to removal from federal service.


Certain incentives (such as Recruitment/Relocation) may be authorized to eligible selectees.

A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.

The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or

holidays.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Several vacancies may be filled.

A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
